How Can Colleges Help More Students Land Good Jobs?

Since so many students have already received a large number of college loans, they need to worry about the employer and the jobs available after graduation. Of course, this does not mean that students who are not overburdened with loans will not be afraid to find a good job (job in pattaya). I said it before, but it is still true. Finally, most students only want three things:

  1. Good university education.
  2. Happy university experience

They graduated great.

Unfortunately, some universities are working hard to achieve these three goals. Some universities are known for their outstanding academic achievements. Others offer many activities, clubs and parties. Only a few people know that the system can ensure that a large number of students get high-paying jobs from ideal employers with ideal promotion opportunities.

They don’t change their behavior until the university leader changes his mind and focuses on student success. No one can really change their behavior until they change their minds.

Skeptical leaders always resist change. It scared them. Change usually scares us all until we understand it and believe it will make things better. This is a challenge.

How do university leaders identify and understand the changes that will lead to greater success in student employment and make themselves better? Money, work and time are the subjects that are always mentioned. However, the most important factors are “want to improve things” and “find and identify things that need to change.” A university that cannot or will not do one or both of them will never improve the professional achievement of the student.

In order to improve student success, the university must:

  1. Recognize that students have a limited understanding of job preparation activities, as well as content, methods, time and reasons.


  1. Accept the fact that universities (learning institutions) are places where students spend most of their time and want to receive the information, help and advice they need. Look for work.


  1. Agree to the direction of teaching and employment preparation is primarily the responsibility of the entire university, not just students and professional services.


  1. Understand that students must compete with other candidates to get the best job in the areas they are interested in. Obtaining a good diploma is often not enough.


  1. Believe that your university will benefit as more students get the ideal job from a respected employer.

To help students succeed in employment, universities must:

  1. Help students identify and select career addresses that match their abilities and interests no later than the second grade. When students wait too long to show a career path, there may be little or no time for a clearly targeted job search. Late decisions may require more time at the university and additional loans.


  1. In the first or second year of the university, ask students to buy and read a book explaining the entire employment process, including work preparation strategies and efforts. . Career services should recommend one.


  1. At the outset, students are required to establish a personal budget for independent living after college. This will motivate them to consider future expenses and let them know the minimum starting salary they need. Career services can provide examples of budget forms so that students can fill in blanks.


Having a realistic budget will encourage students to identify two things: 1) Does the selected career management provide the ideal entry level job that meets budget requirements? 2) Do these jobs have good growth potential and career paths?

Qualified students are not allowed to enter their careers blindly, accepting jobs (job in pattaya) that prevent them from living alone and paying for college loans, or offering low wages and career development potential.


  1. Help students choose a major and a major that will help their career and the work they are interested in.


  1. Help students prepare a written action plan that describes the activities and experiences they will participate in, making them more attractive to target employers. Universities can start with a common example of providing a step-by-step plan for each student.
